Arts and Gallery

 

The Cultural Centre features a Fine Arts Gallery to exhibit contemporary works from artists of both regional and national acclaim.

These are local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and showcase paintings, sculptures, artefacts and carvings.

The Cultural Centre host regular exhibitions annually to promote the works of these local artists.

 

Many of these stunning fine art pieces are available for purchase.

The Centre contains an Interpretive Gallery, housing an exclusive collection of historic and contemporary artifacts along with information that has been collected from within the Northern Region.

Guided tours of the interpretive gallery can enrich the experience, and are available on request. The Cultural Centre also features a Fine Arts Gallery - to exhibit contemporary works from artists of both regional and national acclaim. Many of these stunning fine art pieces are available for purchase.

The Fine Arts Gallery cuurently displays artworks by Aboriginal andTorres Strait Islander artists from throughout North Queensland. (Check out the Artists Section)

Artists who would like to sell their artwork through the Cultural Centre are encouraged to contact the Senior Retail Officer on 07 4772 7679 to arrange viewing of artworks.
